Why does netscan create the file "delete.me" in .recycle folders in the network?
Is this mentioned anywhere in the manual or otherwise referenced?

It creates this file when checking folder's writability. Normally it's deleted automatically, and it is not created unless you have the Check for write access option turned on.

Thanks for this info!
I thought I got a virus, scanned all my systems, holy crap... My heart beats slower as I tested the fact that the scanner creates the file and everything is safe.
