I would like to be able to wildcard a directory where I am searching for files. How would I do that? I've tried using asterisks but they don't seem to work.

It did not support wildcards, however we have just added this feature. Try the latest build here.

I just tried the latest version you linked me to but it doesn't seem to return any results. I've attached a screenshot of the setup I used. If I changed the wildcard directory to a specific one I know exists, it returns the information I need. I need to be able to use the wildcard because there are so many different directory names for the different versions of the software I am looking for.

Sorry, it doesn't work this way. Wildcards can only be used in the file name C:\Folder\SubFolder\*.exe.

You can however try the LAN Search software that searches recursively.

OK. Any plans to make that available in future versions?

I also have to say this is one of the best software offerings I have had the please to use in a very long time. This handles so many tasks that I used to have to do separately. It's a wonderful tool that make my job so much easier and minimizes the mundane and routine tasks. THANK YOU!!!

laugh Great software, great support, happy users!

Sometimes you can get the answer faster if you try the forum search and/or have a look at the software user manual to see if your question has already been answered.
