I was using BWM on windows XP hosted on VMware and made BWM at bridge mode.. Did this setup for years and all worked fine. Now i upgraded to windows 7 32bit with the same exact setup , but when i just want to bridge 2 interface I got this message from VMware: (( Adapter 'Ethernet0' may not have network connectivity. Time in addition to Date in the Rule Schedule

1 year ago, by moro666 in Bandwidth Manager Forum

Can you please add (Time) with date at Rule Schedule? I need to disable a rule after a specific date and specific time, with current implementation it's just disable that rule at 12:00 AM of that date. For example: I need to disable a rule at 1/May/2017 at 2:30 PM, so that rule is still active at 1/May/2017 from 00:00 AM to 2:29PM NOT before 1/May/2017 at 00:00 AM which is the current situat

Here is my post about port mapping: Port mapping confirmed to work with this scenario

How to set up port mapping

4 years ago, by moro666 in Bandwidth Manager Forum

another thing that wasted more time while i'm trying... don't forget to RESTART BWM service when you: - change/add any IPs to bridged interfaces - disabled/enabled any interface of the bridge - if you add/changed anything to routing table of BWM windows machine looks like BWM needs a service restart to be aware of new/changed routes..

How to set up port mapping

hi all... I just asked this question few months ago.. (don't remember at which thread) , it was: can I map a port if BWM installed on another machine (Not the gateway) + redirect that traffic to http: site (payment message) for example.. ++ this site is external (not at BWM machine) ????? now i can say YES.. I managed to do this... first let us see what my network consists of: - a gate

I installed the latest version 3.0.3 to try it.. and imported an old Rules from version 2.xx importing process succeeded. BUT didn't import "MAC address match" for every rule Old rules have a "MAC address match"

Sorry for my triple posts, But I just remember this,, I hope Andrew 'll read it soon What if new BWM supports layer 7 ? this can make us manage to control the types of files/data downloaded , and this 'll make a very flexible management on bandwidth.. think about it, You can limit files like ( zip, rar, avi, iso ) and give them low priority... and unlimit or High priority to ( jpg,

Limit a Lan Speed

1- from (File) menu,, choose (Settings) go to (LAN) tab, and make ( Ignore LAN traffic ) unchecked. 2- Make this Rule : -Direction = Out - Transfer Rate = 5240000 Bytes/s -Protocol = TCP/UDP - Interface= LAN or u can use "Any interface" - Source = Local - Source Ports = list = 139 , 445 ( to limit file sharing, and this is what I expected from your question! ) - De
