I have a squid for NT Stable and i want to include Softperfect Bandwidth manager to redirect all requests on port 80 to another port of another ethernet card, and doesn't work properly. I see the posts of program that this is possible, but can we do it over 2 ethernet cards on server2003? the squid port is 3128.
On Markus blog is many more information about that, but we are some people who can't do it.

The bandwidth manager is currently only capable of redirecting traffic to a local port. It cannot redirect the traffic to another computer, which means Squid and SBM have to installed on the same computer. In the future this functionality may be improved and SBM will be able to redirect traffic to external hosts.

I have the same problem as Jaume. Squid installed on windows 2003 box with 2 NIC's. SBM is installed and configure to redirect port traffic (as stated on Markus Blog). However transparent proxy does not work, but seems to work in the non transparent mode. Any assitance will be appreciated...
Thanks..
Thanks..

Jaume,
A little about your configuration. From what I can tell the SBM must be the network gateway for the port redirects to work. I set up a lab using ICS on my SBM machine, It worked perfectly. The instructions I used were [www.softperfect.com]. My need however was to get all this to happen using the SBM in bridge mode, meaning I had another router as my gateway.
Could you make a little diagram and tell us how your SBM is set up. It would help us help you.
