Saving Results Behavior   18 May 2017, 23:13

Hi Andrew.

Sometime ago with previous versions of NS I was able to save results with the same name in different formats now that's only possible using different name for later renaming.

This is what I do:

1) Open save as results windows
2) Write a file name then choose xml files
3) Press save button (Same behavior as previous)
4) Now the different - Open again save as results windows
5) Select the previous saved file (No need to write again the same name)
6) Pick another format - This time csv files
7) Press save button - Then a message to overwrite the previous saved xml file - In previous versions NS save the file in the selected format without problem.

Thanks in advance for your concern to this matters.

I guess it's either related with a newer version of Windows or a change in the underlying component library the app is based upon. Somehow clicking a file name remembers its extension too.

As a workaround you can try typing the file name once, copying it to the clipboard and each time you want to save in a different format paste it in the dialog.

Sometimes you can get the answer faster if you try the forum search and/or have a look at the software user manual to see if your question has already been answered.
