How to set non-A4 as the standard paper size

How to set non-A4 as the standard paper size 17 August 2007, 06:39

We use letter as our standard size. In PI anything over A4 is considered a larger paper so we are not able to have a difference between Letter & Legal size paper. Can the normal size be changed to Letter?

Anything larger than A4 in terms of square area is considered as a larger job (that is, if paper width times paper height is greater than A4's square, W * H > 2100 * 2970). At the moment, it cannot be changed.

That's a pity. We are in Canada, and don't use A4, so it is a problem for us.

Letter Size at 8.5" x 11" is larger than A4, so every print job is considered oversize in our case. We would like not to separate Letter Size printing and the larger Legal Size 8.5" x 14" and 11" x 17" jobs. Can this be changed in a future version to allow the admin to specify the base size?

Yes, I think we can make it configurable. Please keep an eye on the updates.

hm... This all sounds so strange to me. I thought everyone was using A4. Learning something new every day.
