How to reset forgotten password 17 January 2018, 14:32

We have purchased Print Inspector software and set its application access password.
Now we forgot the password. Could you please tell us how to reset or recover the password?

The forgotten password can be recovered by following these steps:

Download SQLite Spy
Launch it and load the Print Inspector database file, which should be located in C:\ProgramData\SoftPerfect\Print Inspector\Print Inspector.db
Open the CONFIG table and you will see the password in one of the data rows

I only have a path of C:\Program Files\NetWorx with no Print Inspector sub-directory. Where do I find the password? The directory does have an sqlite.dll

It probably means that you do have NetWorx installed, while Print Inspector is not installed on your computer or it's installed in a different folder.

Anyway, the data are kept under C:\ProgramData (%PROGRAMDATA%), that's where you need to look, not in C:\Program Files (%PROGRAMFILES%).
