WiFi Guard doesn't see some or any devices on my network

Sometimes WiFi Guard may be unable to detect some or all devices connected to your network. There can be two reasons for that:

  • Those devices are in sleep mode. Wake, activate, or turn them on, and try rescanning the network again. Sometimes it takes a couple of scan rounds to detect everything.
  • Your router may be using a so-called wireless client isolation or session isolation, which means that the clients cannot see each other over the network. There should be a setting in the router's web-interface to turn this feature on and off.
