Loading Knowledge Base suggestions... Configuring mail-sending for a Gmail account
While our software can send mail using any suitable SMTP server, many users choose Gmail. The recommended settings for Gmail are:
- SMTP server: smtp.gmail.com:465
- User name: <your [email protected]>
- Password: <your account password>
- Connection: Secure to dedicated port (TLS)
You will need to install OpenSSL to enable sending secure mail. You may also need to allow access for less secure apps in your Google account settings.
