Shared folders access permissions

Have 8GB Ram, 64 bit Intel Core I5 2.90 GH, last premium version software. Just trying to see if all works ok on my PC. Since I installed the software, it never appeared on shared folder security, shared readers, shared writers (download file). Need your opinions/suggestions about this, should I be worried? How can I deny or it's not important and I shouldn't do that?

Is it possible to totally block new WiFi connections?

I'm trying WiFi Guard. When I look at IP address, all the information displays with asterisks ***. Do you know why? I also want to know if it's possible to totally block new connections to my PC?
