How to capture traffic on WAN Network interface IPV6   13 June 2011, 17:40

Hello ,

Can you please tell that how we can use it for WAN Network interface IPV6, as right now it is not working . And do not detect any traffic. If i select LAN then it start capturing traffic and show graphs. My laptop is directly connected to Router with static IPV6 point yo point IP. My requirement is to capture traffic on WAN NETWORK INTERFACE IPv6 .

Normally Windows only uses the WAN IPv6 virtual adapter establishing IPv6 connections on dial-up. For a LAN this interface is never used. You can however capture IPv6 traffic on the regular LAN interface as it is capable of transferring both IPv4 and IPv6 packets.

Sometimes you can get the answer faster if you try the forum search and/or have a look at the software user manual to see if your question has already been answered.
