Disable Automount / boot mount image   28 January 2014, 19:55

I've searched the forums and the documents, but cannot find how to disable an image I've made from auto-mounting / boot-mounting, I am running version 3.4.4 64-bit. I would like to disable this auto mounting since it has extended my boot times buy a minute and a half, which if the system was always on I wouldn't mind, but it does get shut down every day and sometimes several times a day. If anyone can inform me on how to disable this I would be very grateful.

If you don't want a RAM disk to be mounted automatically make it a logon-time disk (not boot-time) and click the Unmount button. The software will remember its state and will not mount it automatically.

I can't find a "make it a logon-time disk" button anywhere in the Ram Disk program itself, so I assume it's a setting outside RAM Disk?

No, it's in the main menu as described here.
  • Disk - Add creates a logon-time disk.
  • Disk - Add Boot Disk creates a boot-time disk.
